Staying Safe from Fraud & Scams

1. Be Cautious of Suspicious Links

Avoid clicking on links from SMS messages, emails, social media, or third-party platforms (e.g., Whatsapp, Telegram) that look suspicious. These may lead to fake websites designed to steal your personal or account information.

Important: Webull will never send clickable links or hotline numbers via SMS or Whatsapp.

2. Never Share Your Login Credentials

Do not share your password, OTP, or trading password with anyone. Webull staff will never ask for your login details under any circumstance.

If you receive suspicious messages, emails, or calls asking for your credentials:

  • Do not respond.
  • Contact Webull’s 24-hour Customer Service hotline or in-app live chat immediately.
  • Provide as much information (screenshots, phone numbers, etc.) as possible.

3. What to Do If You Suspect a Compromise of your account

If you believe your account or password has been compromised:

  • Change your password immediately.
  • Contact our 24-hour Customer Service hotline or in-app live chat for support and further investigation.

4. Beware of Investment Scams

Webull does not offer trading or investment services outside of the official Webull app. Be cautious of individuals claiming to be Webull staff on third-party platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, or social media.

These scammers may:

  • Promise guaranteed returns or fixed profits.
  • Ask you to transfer money or cryptocurrency (e.g., Bitcoin).
  • Impersonate Webull staff or representatives.

Always trade within the Webull app and verify any communication through official Webull channels / website.
