What is legging-in?

Legging in refers to the act of entering multiple individual positions that is combined to create an Options Strategy.

Assume that you have 100 long shares of Company X, and you want to do a covered call.

You can leg in by clicking on your long position in your portfolio and construct a covered call strategy by buying another short call option.

Note: Webull only allows legging in with an existing long/short stock position.
