The Lipper Rating is a ranking given to publicly traded mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs) by the investment research firm Lipper. It rates similar funds against each other based on five different metrics of performance. Based on the results this system ranks investments according to their Lipper Average, using a scale from 1 (worst) to 5 (best). |
